On the 5th of August, Operation Blessing purchased a cow and a calf in the form of a business loan for a single mom in the northern district of Chiangkham named Kae Hin. She will now begin breeding her own herd of cattle. The cost of the purchase was 12,000 baht ($300USD). As an added bonus, the cow is already in calf, 4 months along. As Kae Hin builds up her herd she will repay the loan and take full ownership of her new business.
Operation Blessing also purchased two new bicycles for her children when they discovered that three of them traveled to school on just one bike. The total cost of these new bicycles was 3,600 baht (about $90USD).
Kae Hin’s children are also regularly provided with school uniforms and tuition fees. The youngest daughter, who is less than two years old, is provided with a special nutritional milk powder every two months. Operation Blessing has been sharing the love of Christ with this family for over two years now.
